When one door closes and another one opens-SeiZE the opportunity and go for it

Carla officially started AVON in 2007. Avon was suggested to her by Carla’s Mom, Rhonda Voss, as a way to pull in some extra income and pay off school loans. Carla was sick of off brand cereal and budgeting and finally relented to Rhonda’s not so subtle hints about selling Avon. You see, Carla kinda started her Avon business when she was only 14, to repay her Mom back for a $200 dental retainer she lost. Carla did sell enough Avon to pay her Mom back and then back to being a 14 year old, uninterested in selling Avon.
“So Avon it is”, she proclaimed and with bills she wanted to pay off and real branded cereal to buy, Carla launched her Avon career. Carla certainly loved jewelry and cosmetics plus all those fashionable accessories that go with being a beautiful young woman in her twenties and soon she had an Avon business booming in no time flat. This supplemented her income nicely, as a graduate in her chosen field of early childhood education, a vocation she dearly loved but did not pay enough to live on comfortably.
After a few years of working as a teacher she was laid off. When one door closes, one door opens…..so with that door shut for now, she decided to kick open her Avon opportunity door and make it her fulltime job and commitment. She began to visualize a new life for herself, and that included never having to work for anyone else but her. Three years later she achieved Avon highest leadership level, SEUL. That is only five years from starting her Avon business to becoming a SEUL! Carla also was joined by Jamie Webb as her partner and co-applicant and the both of them strengthened and grew their Avon opportunity to achieve team sales of over $1.8 Million dollars and have a team of over 500 representatives, named The Incredibles . They attribute their success to making what they do simple and duplicable. This approach gives their team members confidence in starting and running their own business and the freedom to find their own path within the Avon opportunity. Carla says there are as many ways to succeed at Avon as there are representatives!
Funny how the thing you were not so fond of (Avon) to solve an issue (income) works out being the biggest blessing to your life and to others.
Beside numerous trips they have taken with AVON, they have also been awarded some prestigious statuettes because of their hard work and dedication:

Carla says she and Jamie are just normal people, and because of the AVON opportunity being so fabulous, they have been able to achieve incredible income and help others achieve their goals and dreams too, and that is a wonderful way to make a living all while having fun doing it!
